Blessing Jars

If love, health and joy came in jars that would be great, but the next best thing is blessing all that we eat with these powerful intentions. Bless your rice, bless your lentils, bless your peas. The Japanese eat a lot of fermented rice so Dr Emoto did an experiment he put “Love” sticker on one rice jar, “I hate you” on another and the third he simply ignored altogether. Guess what the jar with “I hate you” turned brown and smelly, the one ignored turned black with mold and the Love jar perfectly fermented.

I have a motto assume an Attitude Of Gratitude, the biggest lesson of my life. So here is my gratitude onion. Ohhh it makes me cry when I see it. I had to be creative a little here and add some water on the back of the static label to make stick. Still even a few minutes of blessing the onion hopefully got the message across and it reminded me of my motto. By the way onions are the best recipe for runny nose. Just cut up a small portion and sniff it overnight. Warning, side effects are that repels anyone sleeping in your bed that night.

The SeeReal Of All Cereals

I am so picky about cereals that I used to stand for hours in the supermarket isles reading the ingredients. sugar, wheat, cornstarch, more sugar, artificial sweeteners and on and on. Being wheat intolerant and staying of sugar does not help. Finally I found this great company that makes spelt, sugar less serial that actually tastes like Mama used to make it. Its so good that’s that is all my wife had for the last week for breakfast….ooops giving away family secrets. Still it deserved the big Love decal on the jar. Know of any other great cereals?

When I was in Florence Italy, I visited the local market and the aroma of Italian tomatoes is still running though my head. Full of Vitamins and Minerals they are apparently one of the major reasons why Italians have one of the lowest cancer rates in the world. Any other romantic stories about tomatoes you can offer?

Here are the Love and Joy lemons, blessed they soul they keep me high….on vitamin C. I don’t know where that expression came “That car is a Lemmon”, but I love eating lemons. Every morning I take a few slices of lemon in hot water, the best and the oldest alkalizing recipe for your body. Yes Lemons are alkalizing, they are acidic by themselves but the digestion process produces an alkalizing effect on the body. Chemistry of the body, what a wonder. Have any other alkalizing recopies you can offer?
